Research on Flocculation of Cement Particles in Water

Nowadays, workability is absolutely necessary for piping concrete, which influenced by characteristics of structure fresh cement paste. In this paper, the movement particles in electric field and flocculent units at different W/C were observed, rheologic paste pastes with naphthalene sulphonate (NS) poly carboxylate (PC) superplasticizers investigated using rotational viscometer (NXS-11A). It found that initial hydration age carry quantity electrical property; increment induces more separated, less hysteresis loop area lower crush point; application brings much indistinct point. concluded 1) filled flocculation strength; 2) are connected one another loosely; 3) tunnels bleeding form weakest connecting area. Water can disperse to some extent, especially superplasticizers. However, latter can’t separate completely.
